I’m not a big fan of The XX, but when I realized their new single Hold On, from the upcoming album I See You had a video clip directed by photographer Alasdair McLellan, I was very excited.
With an amazing cinematography, McLellan puts together the musicians of The XX and mix them with models and friends from the band to create a beautiful vintage 90’s western that looks like it came out from his book, Ultimate Clothing Company. The result is at least, amazing. And of course, I had to post several frames here on Papiro and Mint after watching several times because is just really, really good. The frames itself could be part of a book or an editorial.
